Clayton's Mayor's Youth Advisory Council

The COVID Pandemic did not discriminate who it affected. MYAC students decided to document how the City of Clayton reacted to the pandemic, as well as how Clayton citizen's dealt with everyday life. MYAC students created a survey, wrote an article for the Globe magazine, created a video and gathered items for a Time Capsule to be opened in 2071 - 50 years from now. Students worked with Mayor Harris, Faculty Advisor Kate Lyons and Community Advisors Cheryl Redohl and Jenny Abeles over Zoom meetings to complete the project and present it at the May 25, 2021 Board of Aldermen meeting.
